3-Needle High-Speed Free-Arm Top and Bottom Coverstitch, Cylinder Bed Industrial Sewing Machine Comes With Table, Legs, Servo Motor and LED Lamp

The machine can be used for the hemming process of the sleeves and bottoms of T-shirts and for the covering process for sportswear and knitwear. It is not a specific-purpose model, but a basic one which can be used for a broader range of processes independently.

MACHINE FEATURES:

STITCH TYPE CHANGE OVER:

It is now possible to change over the stitch type, such as elastic soft-seams for innerwear and high-quality well-tensed seams for outerwear. The stitch type can be changed over (soft-seams/well-tensed seams) simply by changing the thread path.

DIFFERENTIAL-FEED MICRO-ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM:

It is possible to finely adjust the differential feed amount to a best-suited value for the material to be used. The differential feed ratio is constant even if the stitch length is changed

JUKI DDL-8700 FAQs

What kind of needles do you use in the DDL-8700?

The needles with your JUKI are the Organ DBx1, available on our website. This machine uses size 16×257, size 8 through 20 or 16×97. The 8700 can also use standard needles, sizes 9 through 21, universal or fabric-specific needles such as knit.

Where does the machine oil go?

A pan directly underneath the machine supplies oil to the machine with a cotton wick. Lift the machine up and over to access the oil tank while on the table. You must keep the machine’s oil level consistently at the «high» mark, either by adding more oil or draining it and refilling it as needed. If the oil pump can’t get the oil into the machine, it can cause serious problems later.

What kind of oil does this machine require?

You need a specific type, like motor oil in your car, to keep this machine running. The DDL-8700 requires JUKI New Defrix Oil No.1, equivalent to ISO VG7.

What size table can I get with this machine?

Our table has legs and is 22"w x 47"l. It includes a knee and foot pedals and a left-hand drawer for accessories.

Does the DDL 8700 make buttonholes?

No. The 8700 only does straight stitching, with a horizontal bar on the right side for a reverse stitch.
